Sao Jorge island

S. Jorge Island can be found in the center of the archipelago of Azores.
For the reason of being the most central island of Azores, one can behold other four islands: Pico and Faial on the South side and Graciosa and Terceira in North side.
It is a high and lean island that spreads its Fajãs over the sea, giving the impression that the island looks like a dragon when seen from above.
Its coast is high with huge cliffs that firmly stand the fury of the waves or are gently caressed by the sea during the summer.
